South End Charlotte

Just outside of Uptown Charlotte, you’ll find the neighborhood of South End. This community is packed full of fun and interesting things to do. You’ll find art galleries, boutiques, great restaurants, a market, and they even have a weekly event named Food Truck Friday, where they bring in food trucks to cater to customers.

As you’ll see in the video below, James Mathis explains why this community has grown so well and that there was a lot of planning and vision behind the growth. You’ll also hear Lynn Caldwell, Director of Atherton Market, talk about what makes South End so great.

Currently there aren’t many residences other than apartments in South End, but South End is bordered by more residential areas like Dilworth, Uptown, and Wilmore. If you live in one of these communities, South End is a quick walk or drive away. However, if you’d like info on the available residences in South End, shoot me a quick email and I can tell you about available properties.

Don’t forget the breweries: Triple C, Unknown, Lenny Boy and in Summer of 2014 Sycamore Brewing!
