Food Truck Friday in South End

With all of the COLD weather we’ve had lately, it has me looking forward to warmer weather. Who am I kidding? I hate cold weather, so I’m always looking forward to warmer weather. When it does get warmer, Food Truck Friday in South End is one of my favorite things to do on a Friday night! We shot this video this past summer, in the early hours of Food Truck Friday, but you can still see the selection of trucks.

If you haven’t been before, this is a weekly event that takes place at the corner of Camden Road and Park Avenue. It is held normally from 5 until 9 throughout the year (except holidays). However, I’ve never been in the colder months of the year. For the uninitiated, “food truck” might have a negative connotation, but let me assure you on the quality of the food. I introduced multiple friends to F.T.F this past summer and every one of them thought the food was awesome! So, if you’re looking for something to do on a Friday night, you should definitely check it out!

Insider tips for Food Truck Friday in South End:

  • Take something to sit on like camping chairs, or a picnic blanket
  • Get there early, if you can. It starts to get busy around 6 in the warmer months and the lines can get long.
  • If you want alcohol, they don’t sell it at Food Truck Friday. However, you can get it at Common Market next door, keep it closed, and then bring it to F.T.F to open and enjoy.
