2014 is quickly coming to its end. It’s been a busy year, and The Queen City has seen so much in the way of growth, and 2015 is looking as if that trend is going to continue. With two weeks left there is still a bit more to do in Charlotte. Here is to a Merry Holiday and Happy New Year.

Once again, don’t forget to take in Holiday on Ice and the 59th annual Christmas Town USA, McAdenville before they are gone!

Wednesday, December 17th: Charlotte Symphony: Messiah

Belk Theater

Sunday, December 28th: Belk Bowl 5K


“Kickoff the 2014 Belk Bowl festivities with the Belk Bowl 5K. Come run or walk the streets of Uptown Charlotte and celebrate with a post-race celebration full of free beer, food, and giveaways. Bring your family, friends, and football fans and get ready to run!” More Information here!

Monday, December 29th: Belk Bowl Fan Central


“The official fan party of the Belk Bowl, EpiCentre will be THE place to be the night before the game. In addition to the restaurants, bars, and other attractions that call EpiCentre home, the main courtyard will be ready to host fans. Wednesday, December 31st: CLT New Year’s Eve

NASCAR Hall of Fame

“The official New Year’s Eve celebration in Uptown Charlotte has a new name and location! CLT New Year’s Eve will be held at the NASCAR Hall of Fame Plaza, at the corner of MLK Blvd. and S. Brevard St. During the day, enjoy WBT Holiday on Ice (opens at 10am) along with family-friendly programs and activities.

Beginning at 7pm, come celebrate the end of 2014 with live music and a variety of activities and performances. CLT New Year’s Eve remains an alcohol-free, family-friendly and free event. Count down to the new year with fireworks and the raising of the Queen City Crown!” More Information here!
