Booty, Dance, Vintage, and Soccer – Charlotte, NC Events – July 24th – July 30th, 2015

By David Boling

It’s another packed weekend in Charlotte. Don’t plan on a minute’s rest on Saturday. Starting on Friday (and all day Saturday) be sure to head out to Myers Park for the annual 24 Hours of Booty Fundraiser. Take time out to Dance in Uptown for National Dance Day, do some vintage shopping in NoDa, and support Soccer in the US (and the Queen City) back in Uptown.

We’ll be trying hard to fit it all in and we hope to see you there… somewhere.

Friday & Saturday, July 24th & 25th : 24 Hours of Booty 2015

Myers Park Traditional School, located behind Queens University

Per their website: “24 Hours of Booty, presented by the Levine Cancer Institute is back for the 14th annual 24-hour bike ride on the Booty Loop in Charlotte!  Our event HQ, also known as “Bootyville” will be held at Queens University and Myers Park Traditional School. The 3-mile Booty Loop runs through Myers Park Neighborhood.  The community event hosts over 1,200 riders and will raise funds for the Levine Cancer Institute, LIVESTRONG Foundation, Keep Pounding Foundation, WindRiver Cancer Wellness Retreats and the Brain Tumor Fund of the Carolinas.”
